Welcome to
The Barn at Glen Gray

Wedding and event venue situated in the Central Drakensberg.

The Barn at Glen Gray is on a Farm 7 km from Winterton. Winterton is a small town situated in the foothills of the Drakensberg. It is one of the most beautiful places in South Africa, some even say that it is truly the most beautiful. The Drakensberg is also a World Heritage site.

Glen Gray Farm is a small working farm. Glen Gray Farm was owned by Thomas Salomo Honiball “Tom”. A few years down the line his youngest son, Barend Daniël Honiball “Danie” took over from his dad to continue what his father had started.

The chapel has an open, humble space, it allows the mountainscape to create a breath-taking backdrop to the wedding ceremony. With the design of this chapel, it allows nature into the chapel. 90 guests can be seated in this chapel.

A beautiful view of the Drakensberg, just outside the verandah of this rustic barn. We have a large fire pit outside for your guests to create the everlasting memories you so crave for them to have.  This venue is a blank canvas and you can design as you’ve always dreamed.  The barn can seat 80 guests.

The sunset over the beautiful dam and mountain range in the background leaves me in awe every time! This beautiful backdrop makes this the perfect venue for any wedding or function.

This venue is perfect for intimate weddings. Such a beautiful view of the Berg and stunning gardens for photos. Loved attending my sister-in-law’s wedding there recently!

Beautiful environment and view! This very charming, wedding venue was the perfect place for our daughter’s dream wedding! Lovely people, great serves! Strongly recommended!

Lovely wedding venue with beautiful views of the Drakensberg. Extremely helpful and friendly team that is guaranteed to make your special day a great success!!

My wife and I got married here and it was amazing. A picturesque, very well taken care of, rustic venue, topped only by the super friendly staff. If you don’t get married here, just don’t bother getting married at all.
